Ours was a spontaneous trip. I made our reservations at lunch on the drive down. Decided I would try ABNB. Found these cabins. They looked great and were close to town. When we arrived we were greeted by Patti personally and we probably visited for 15 minutes before getting out of the car. She gave us great insight on the area and how to get around. The cabin was clean and organized. It had a refrigerator and a stove and a microwave. There were several kitchen appliances like a coffee pot, toaster, etc. It had satellite television in each room. The kitchen and dining and living room area are one large room. There was a sofa bed in the living area. 2 double beds in the bed room. Simple bathroom with a nice walk in shower - no bathtub. Clean towels and sheets. Coffee in the fridge but you will need to bring your cream and sugar. There was an outdoor grill and a little swingset for the kids. The place was incredibly quiet throughout our stay. I would stay there again and I thoroughly enjoyed visiting with Patti.

Great relaxing get away. Quiet, clean, great pool, & owner Patty, is the best hostess. My son, Chase Maxwell, recently back from deployment, loved chilling in the awesome cabin & pool. Fell in love with our cabin and we will be regulars anytime we come down. Even better that Patti allowed our dogs so the whole family got to come and enjoy the beach. The cabin had plenty of room we enjoyed the kitchen and the full sized fridge. We just crossed the road to our boat stall, and minutes from the harbor and the beach. We enjoyed visiting with Patti and loved meeting her mastiffs! Thanks for making our Labor Day getaway perfect and can’t wait to come back!

We rented the first cabin a few weekends ago. We loved it so much that we are going again this weekend and hopefully labor day weekend as well. These cabins are exactly as pictured if not better in person. We didn't want to leave. Very clean and she has everything imaginable inside each cabin for your own use. Can't wait to be back!!!

New years eve weekend was Our 1st time at JJB cabins, it felt like our home away from home. Ms Patty's Hospitality is beyond words! When she says she's available 24/7 she's available 24/7! The cabin was very cozy and very clean, equipped with all cooking supplies you could ever need. My family and I had a great time and let me not forget it is pet friendly! My 2 fur babies had a blast as well! We will definitely be coming back! Get place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Great fishing spots too!

My wife and I stayed here for 3 weeks while I worked at STP Nuclear plant. I highly recommend this place. Great cabins that are fully furnished. Patti is a great hostess and a genuinely nice lady! If I'm ever in the area again I know where I will be staying!

We had such a great experience here Patti the owner was so sweet and available for any questions we had! The place was very clean and well kept. I was impressed by the fact that even though it’s a smaller cabin she had two window units that kept it so cold the first night I had to get up and turn one of them off that comes in handy in the Texas heat! Although it’s small it had a ton of space and plenty of room there where only two of us but it would be great for a famliy!

Is my heaven on Earth place , respark the soul , clear our the cob webs and what ever your needs may be . My family and I spent last weekend at the camp . My first visit and was stunned at how large the cabin was. I could go on for an hour but to put it in a nut shell , the cabin is neat , spotless , welcoming ,brightly painted , comfortable beds , linens , towels and so on . The kitchen is well decked out and many axtras there . Patti is right next door and she is the best part of the stay because she is an incredible person .
